Terms and Conditions
Terms:
Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% and may be subject to change if the VAT rate alters. Your accommodation is available from 4pm on your day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on your day of departure. You will be held responsible for any damage or breakages sustained during your stay.
Booking confirmation:
A binding contract between us will come into existence when we issue a hire invoice, which is issued as a result of a telephone agreement.
Booking monies:
When booking, a non-returnable deposit of 25% of the full amount shall be paid. Bookings made within 28 days of the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
Balance of hire monies:
The balance payment is due 28 days prior to arrival and if you pay by cheque it should be made payable to Haulfryn Group Ltd. We reserve the right to cancel bookings not paid by this date. In this event your deposit will be retained.
Change to your booking;
Once confirmed, if you require us to amend or reissue an invoice, we reserve the right to charge £20.
Cancellations:
Telephone us immediately if you have to cancel your holiday. You must then confirm this in writing by first class mail. The date of the postmark is the date upon which the cancellation becomes effective. A confirmation of cancellation will be sent to you. If you cancel you will lose your booking deposit and if it is within 28 days of your arrival date your balance of hire payment.
In exceptional circumstances a partial refund may be considered if the lodge you have booked is re-sold although in all cases your initial deposit will be lost.
All or part of your liabilities may be covered if you have purchased a travel insurance policy from an insurance broker. Refunds will not be issued for inclement weather or early departures.
Availability:
The booking is made on the understanding that your accommodation (which may be privately owned) will be placed at your disposal on the dates stated. Where “Force Majeure” does not make this possible we have the right to cancel your booking. In this event we will endeavour to offer you alternative accommodation, if available. If we cannot do so, or you do not wish to accept the alternative we will refund all monies paid but you will have no further claim against us for compensation.
We reserve the right to alter or withdraw amenities or facilities without prior notice in the event we need to carry out repairs, maintenance, or where weather conditions or circumstances are beyond our control.
Behaviour:
If, in our opinion, you or any member of your party are not suitable to continue their holiday because of unreasonable or antisocial behaviour, damage to property, or danger or significant annoyance to others your holiday contract may be terminated and you will be asked to leave. No refund will be due and we reserve the right to claim compensation for any damage.
Numbers in your party:
It is a condition of booking that the total number in your party does not exceed the total capacity of the accommodation as advertised in this brochure. Babies under 2 may or may not be counted as members of your party.
Group/party bookings:
The organiser or leader of a group or party booking is responsible for advising us of all party details and requirements. You may be asked to pay a security deposit at the time of check in. It should be noted that we are a family orientated holiday and do not accept all male, all female or mixed groups under the age of 25.
Vehicles:
There is one allocated parking bay per Holiday Home. Additional vehicles can unload only and then must be parked in one of our car parks. Pen-y-Garth has parking for more than one car. There is a strict 10mph speed limit throughout. Your vehicle, accessories and contents are left at your own risk. Haulfryn Group Ltd will not be responsible for loss or damage to the vehicle or its contents except through negligence of its employees.
Pets:
Dogs are permitted in selected accommodation by special arrangement for an additional charge of £45 per week. Please make your request at the time of booking. Registered assistance dogs are permitted free of charge.
Special Requests:
These cannot be guaranteed but every effort will be made to satisfy them although you must make your requests at the time of booking.
Wheelchair/disable persons:
To ensure that the accommodation booked is suitable you must advise us of your requirements at the time of booking which should be confirmed in writing.
Any shortcomings:
You are asked to notify reception immediately of any shortcomings so remedial action can be taken.
