Welcome to Paignton
The ‘English Riviera’ follows Tor Bay, stretching from Torquay past Paignton and along to Brixham, with each town having a character and charm of its own. Torquay has palm trees, exotic tropical plants and flowers and a busy harbour, whilst Paignton is known for its long sandy beaches, first class attractions and its vibrant atmosphere.
Brixham radiates a warmth of its own, nestling as it does amongst rugged cliffs, with life centred around its own pretty harbour.
Back at Paignton there are seafront pubs and restaurants, with views out over the sands to the sea, and more tucked away in the small harbour. There’s a traditional Victorian theatre, newly refurbished and with great entertainment, a multiplex cinema and great shopping.
Holidaying at Haulfryn Paignton couldn’t be easier. There’s a choice of luxury country lodges with accommodation for between four and eight guests, all set in landscaped surroundings and within easy reach of the town centre and beaches; close, but not too close, perfect for all the action, and for some quiet too.
If you’re feeling energetic why not have a game of tennis on our all weather court, and then maybe a swim, and after a long day out on the beach, visiting the local sights or just pottering around it’s great to have the choice of indoor or outdoor heated pools to relax in and enjoy. There’s also a comprehensively equipped gym to work off those pounds, and, for an easier way to retain one’s figure, a choice of steam room and sauna.
