Finlake’s tranquil grounds have been presented with the prestigious David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award in addition to being granted the maximum five stars by the English Tourist Board grading scheme.
Outstanding leisure facilities provide for complete relaxation and pampering, including a health and leisure club with a gym for healthy workouts. Outdoors, you can explore the paths and walkways on foot or on bicycle, play a round of golf and even try your hand at coarse fishing or horseriding at The Finlake Riding Centre (under separate management).

Devon boasts miles of beautiful coastline and close to Finlake is the area known as the English Riviera. The coastal towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham are all within easy reach and bring a mix of seaside café culture, with sandy beaches, family attractions and maritime activity as well as plenty of shopping. Dartmoor itself is home to many pretty villages and busy market towns, all set within spectacular scenery of heather covered moorland and craggy granite tors.
Finlake continuously strives to exceed expectations and returning visitors will notice many changes to make their stay even more enjoyable. Hot tubs have been introduced in even more of our lodges for added luxury. Woodland walks have been created through the forest and are fully signposted, perfect for exploring, even with a pushchair! You can take in the natural beauty of the area, whilst listening to the birds and watching out for squirrels and other wildlife.
